Who doesn't love mimosas while getting ready?! Whether it is for the morning of your wedding, a bridal shower, or just for fun, a DIY mimosa bar is ALWAYS a good idea.
A mimosa bar is an easy, inexpensive way to add a personal touch to any party while allowing your guests to customize their cocktail. They are interactive, fun and always a big hit with the crowd! We love including multiple juices, fruits and various garnishes for a completely unique experience for each guest. You can also offer non-alcoholic mimosas by replacing the champagne or prosecco with club soda.
Presentation is everything! It makes all the difference to put the juices in carafes or glass pitchers and the garnishes in dishes. Don't forget to include some fun snacks or a brunch, like these croissants from Layered Croissanterie in Raleigh, NC or donuts from Duck Donuts in North Carolina.
What you need:
2 bottles of champagne or prosecco, chilled
Carafes filled with an assortment of juices i.e. orange, cranberry, peach, grapefruit, or lemonade
Fruit or herbs i.e. strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, oranges, mint, or rosemary to garnish
Champagne glasses or flutes
Step 1: Pour the desired amount of juice in the champagne glass. We recommend starting with half juice and half champagne.
Step 2: Add the desired amount of champagne
Step 3: Top if off with a garnish of your choice
Step 4: Enjoy!
